FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to register?
- Yes. All persons coming to the convention must register.
Does my convention registration include my lodging?
- No. You must register with the hotel by phone or on-line. See the Hotel Info/Register page for information.
Are there separate registrations for the Florida State Convention and Southeastern Conference?
- No. One registration covers both events.
Can I add a banquet, merchandise, or activity if I have already registered?
- Yes. If you have previously registered on line, you can add
to your order by going to the registration page, and selecting the option to add to the registration.
You will need your previous registration number, and additional registration information. If you do not
have your previous registration information, the registration page will provide you the option to have a confirmation
emailed to you.
If you did not initially register on line, or do not want to add items on line,
print and mail a completed registration form, (see Flyer.aspx)
Complete the personal
data so your name will match your previous registration, indicate on the flyer that you
are already registered and you wish to add the items marked. Include a check, money order, or
credit card payment information.
If I just want to come to the dance or play in the golf tournament, do I have to pay full registration?
- Yes. All persons coming to the convention must register.
Can I purchase merchandise during the convention?
- We will have some items in the beginning.
We will process advance orders first. To make sure
we have your item in your size, order early!
I mailed my payment and registration flyer. What's next?
- We will have your registration package waiting on you with your order
when you arrive. If we haven't sold out of other items, ie. banquet,
ice cream social, you are welcome to add these when you arrive.

Is there a deadline for online and pre-registration?
- There will be, but it hasn't been determined yet. Online and pre-purchases of merchandise, banquet
tickets, activities, etc.
will be discontinued when the respective committees make their final headcount commitments and
vendor orders.
While some additional merchandise, banquet tickets and activity reservations will be made available
for on-site purchases, the committees will order very conservatively and you may get left out
if you don't pre-order. Buying early insures you will have the experiences you want and helps
the committees in making commitments and ordering merchandise.
How do I cancel my hotel reservation?
- You must contact the Doral Golf Resort & Spa;
see the Hotel Info page for information.
The cancellation policies are strictly those of the hotel.
Can I cancel my convention reservation?
- Full refunds, less any unrecoverable credit card charges, will be granted to individuals if requested on or before April 30, 2010.
No refunds will be granted after April 30, 2010. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing refunds.
Charge card refunds will be credited to your account in a few short days if possible. To request
a refund, contact the registration chair, (see Contacts Page)
